Proposals should be submitted through our online submission system. Please visit the StarNexus Monographs website and click the "Submit Proposal" button. You will need to create an account if you are a first-time user. Your proposal should include an abstract, chapter outline, and author details.
We use a double-blind peer review process. Each monograph proposal and full manuscript is evaluated by 3-4 independent reviewers. The first decision is typically made within 6-8 weeks of submission.
No. There is no fee for submitting a monograph proposal or manuscript. Publication fees (BPC) are only charged after acceptance.
The standard BPC (Book Processing Charge) is 800 USD. However, we offer special discounts for inaugural volumes, role-based discounts for series editors, and full waivers for the top 40% of accepted proposals. Please refer to the specific series BPC policy for details.
BPC is invoiced only after your monograph has been formally accepted for publication. You will receive an invoice along with the acceptance notification.
Yes. Discounts are available for Series Editorial Board Members (40% off), Associate Editors (60% off), and the Series Editor-in-Chief (100% off). Additionally, the top 40% of accepted proposals in each series receive full BPC waivers.
Yes. StarNexus Monographs follows the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Core Practices. We use iThenticate for plagiarism screening and investigate any suspected misconduct in accordance with COPE guidelines.
Authors retain full copyright of their work. All monographs are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing users to share, adapt, and build upon the work with proper attribution.
Yes. We welcome submissions that have previously appeared on recognized preprint servers. However, the final published version cannot be posted on preprint servers.

Board members are expected to contribute approximately 8-12 hours per year, including 2-3 peer reviews, 1 invited editorial column, and 1-2 promotional activities. Each board member is supported by 1-2 dedicated in-house editors.
